Podcast: Play in new window
Rick Santelli played put into words the growing frustration of the American people in early 2009. This video of Rick Santelli calling out the Obama administration on it’s policies to “reward bad behavior” inspired the Tea Party movement and helped coalesce the frustration Americans were feeling about the stimulus package.
The Rick Santelli “rant” played an important role in the movement that led to the election of Republican Scott Brown in Massachusetts yesterday. Listen to the podcast above where I make the case that from Santelli we moved to Tea Parties, Town hall protests and then New Jersey, Virginia and Massachusetts.
