Mike Pence to Republicans: “We Need to Humbly Admit Our Mistakes”

Mike Pence makes the point today that Republicans need to humbly admit they are guilty as well of profligate spending during the Bush administration. And he says that the Obama administration is guilty of “spending on steroids.”

He is right on target! The humble who apply truth are rewarded--always. It’s a hard and fast principle which is a major factor what has made America great. We can probably trace most of our problems these days to pride. Yet Americans have always been willing to learn the hard lessons whether put upon them or resulting from their own mistakes and change course. I believe we will do so again. Mike Pence is one of the leaders who can help take us there as a consistent conservative even willing to express criticism of his own party when necessary.
