On The Jim Pfaff Show today, lots to talk about here at home and abroad. Join me from 11:00am to Noon, MST on 560 KLZ-AM Denver and streaming online from 1:00pm to 2:00pm EST on 560TheSource.com.
Corruption is brewing in Washington as Democrats on Capitol Hill are seeking favors for their constituents–and they’re getting them! You won’t believe some of the new information coming out about special favors for TARP money which benefited a bank that didn’t qualify for funds. But a few phone calls by a U.S. Senator who stared by and is highly invested in this bank made a difference. And remember the 309 pages slapped on to the Cap and Tax bill at 3:00am 12 hours before the vote on Friday? Lots of special concessions were put in those pages to buy votes. We’ll tell you some of the stories.
We have more information on Honduras and Iran. And we question the Obama administration’s motives behind its relative silence on Iran and its willingness to reinstate Honduras’ ousted President Zelaya siding with Hugo Chavez.
We have poll numbers too. American opinion on partisan politics is incredibly clear. They think Democrats are too liberal…..and Republicans too! I’ll explain.
Al Franken has been named U.S. Senator from Minnesota. With an effective 60 vote, filibuster-proof majority, will Democrats have their way?
All this and more from 11:00am to Noon, MST on 560 KLZ-AM, Denver. The Jim Pfaff Show.
